1. General disclaimer

GW processes the personal data transmitted to it in accordance with the legislation in force, and in particular with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy and its implementing decrees and the new European General Data Protection Regulation (« GDPR »). 

Access to the GW website (https://grusenmeyer-woliner.com/) (hereinafter the « Site ») implies full and unreserved acceptance by the user of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the « Policy »). 

The User acknowledges having read the information below and authorises GW to process, in accordance with what is specified below, the personal data that he/she communicates in the contact form. 

The present Charter exclusively governs the relationship between the User and GW, relating to the use of the Site.

GW reserves the right to modify or complete the Charter and to update it at any time and without notice by posting a revised version on the Site. GW therefore advises you to consult it regularly. 

The Privacy Policy applies to all pages hosted on the Site and to registrations on the Site. It does not apply to pages hosted by third parties to which GW may link and whose privacy policies may differ.  GW is therefore not responsible for any data processed on these third party sites.

2. Person responsible for the processing

Access to the information available on or via the Site is in principle possible without the need to provide personal data, such as surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, etc. However, the application forms require the user to provide the information requested. However, the application forms require the transmission of certain personal data. The GW newsletter sending service is provided by the third party company Mailchimp (« Mailchimp »), whose registered office is located at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 (USA). Mailchimp is an email address management and message delivery service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC. 3. Information collected

3.1. Data that is transmitted to GW by the active intervention of the User 

By filling in the forms provided for this purpose when registering for the Newsletter, and by filling in the contact forms, the User allows GW to record and store in point 4, the following information : identification data, such as name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address.

3.2. Data that is automatically transmitted to GW when the Site is consulted

3.2.1. Cookies

In order to facilitate navigation on the Site as well as to optimize technical management, the Site may use « cookies ». A « cookie » is a small file containing information saved by a website on the User’s computer. A cookie is a small file containing information saved by a website on the User’s computer. This cookie can be retrieved during a subsequent visit to the same website. The cookie cannot be read by any other website than the one that created it. The Site uses « cookies » for the purposes of good administration of the Site, in particular to record the User’s browsing preferences or to obtain information relating to the pages consulted and the dates and times of consultation.

  • Facebook and Instagram

The Site uses social modules on its Site from the social network providers Facebook and Twitter. These social modules establish a direct connection to the social network server via the User’s browser. The provider of the social network on which the User has clicked receives the information that the User has visited the Site. If the User is registered and identified on the social network that the User has clicked on, the social network provider receives the information that the User has visited the Site.

  • Google analytics

The Site also uses Google analytics. This service, offered by Google, analyses the activity of the Site. For this purpose, Google collects information related to web traffic and the number of visitors. This tool allows GW to measure the performance of the Site in terms of navigation and to aggregate activity reports and other services. 

3.2.2. Information recorded on the servers consulted

When the User accesses the Site, the servers accessed automatically record certain data that is not made publicly visible on the Site, such as the type of domain with which the User connects to the Internet, the IP address assigned to the User (when connecting), the date and time of the User’s access to the Site, the number of visitors to the Site and the number of visitors to the Site, the date and time of access to the Site and other traffic data, location data or other communication data the pages consulted, the type of browser used, the platform and/or operating system used, the search engine and the keywords used to find the Site,. ..

However, no nominative data enabling the User to be identified is collected by means of these records. This information is only kept for statistical purposes and to improve the Site.

4. Purposes

4.1. General purposes

Without prejudice to what has been specified in point 3.2. concerning automatically transmitted data, GW collects, stores and uses the personal data of its Users for the following purposes 

– to establish, perform and conduct the contractual relationship with the User

– to enable the User to receive emails concerning the transactions of a sale, a shipping process, the pre-examination and any other procedures within the contractual framework

– to process requests for pre-assessment, sale, purchase

– to respond to requests for information

– for possible marketing and promotional actions offered by GW to members who have subscribed to the Newsletter. You can unsubscribe from this service at any time by contacting us at or by clicking on the « Unsubscribe » link at the bottom of each newsletter. 

– to inform them about the evolution of the Site and its functionalities

4.2 Communication to third parties

Personal data, within the limits of the provisions of this article, are not intended to be communicated to third parties other than :

  • Mailchimp
  • Google analytics
  • Persons designated for this purpose by the User
  • Persons whose intervention is necessary for the proper execution of the contract (for example: a transport company, an expert or other suppliers)

Persons whose intervention is necessary to achieve one of the purposes mentioned in this Charter

4.2.3 Transfer to a country outside the European Union

GW will only transfer data to a country outside the European Union if that country ensures an adequate level of protection within the meaning of the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy, or within the limits permitted by that law, for example by ensuring the protection of data through appropriate contractual provisions.
